Our Story
"Three jam band nerds walk into a bar..." sounds like the beginning of a funny joke but it is actually the story of Upstate Trio. Three friends that love music and want share that passion with as many people as possible. The end of the joke is, "... and they formed a band."
Our Perspective
We are focused on creating amazing, memorable experiences for our audiences. We like to push the envelope of the live music experience to create something totally new.
Our Roots
Did we mention we love jam bands? You might hear influences of Phish, Steve Kimock, String Cheese Incident, Umphrey's McGee and The Grateful Dead. But you'll also hear metal, reggae, bluegrass and funk, all mixed together - maybe even in the same song.
